CollectorPodcast / In development
The stories
behind the shelves.
A podcast project about the people who collect, the objects they keep, and the little discoveries that lead somewhere unexpected.

A show in the making
What keeps you collecting?
That is the question at the heart of CollectorPodcast. We are shaping the project around collectors’ stories: how an interest began, what a particular object taught them, and the experience of building a collection over time.
Episodes have not been released yet. In the meantime, explore the complete written guides in Collector’s Journal or get in touch about a story you would like to share.
The conversations we are interested in
More than what’s in the case.
Where it started.
The card, doll, book, or unexpected discovery that turned an interest into a collection. What made you want to learn more?
What you learned.
A small detail, a changed assumption, or a lesson from an experienced collector that transformed how you see a subject.
Why it matters.
The object you would choose to explain your collection. Its significance might be personal, historical, visual, or all three.
Have a collection story?
Tell us what you collect, how your interest began, and one object or moment you would like to talk about. You do not need an enormous collection or a professional title. A clear story and a willingness to share what you have learned are a useful place to start.
We are interested in thoughtful conversations across all nine collecting topics, including the ways a hobby connects with family, design, local history, and everyday life. Please send a short introduction before sending large files or detailed collection records.
